We are closed Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

How long will it take my package to ship?

We generally ship all stocked parts within one business day.

Due to logistics issues caused by Covid-19, custom pieces have a lead time of approximately 6-8 months.

Can I pre/backorder something?

Yes you can. You can order through the website (if we are out of stock, there will be a notification in your shopping cart) or you can contact us here.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship anywhere in North and South America. Anything shipping outside our territory is covered by another one of the StillDragon Distributors.

Please be aware that our default shipper is UPS, the importer (customer/you) are responsible for border charges such as duties and taxes. You are welcome to e-mail us and request we ship via USPS at a higher rate, but you will most likely, not receive a COD charge to receive your package.

If the package is refused and returned to us, we will refund the parts minus the incurred shipping expenses. Please take note that, in order to have the package sent back to the US, we are charged the same duties and taxes as the COD, and these charges may be taken out of your refund.

Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Amazon has no control over these charges, nor can StillDragon predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our website checkout is through Authorize.net which can accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We can also accept PayPal, Checks, Money Orders, and Wire Transfers upon special request.

Is distilling illegal?

It depends what you are distilling and where you are located. Distilling ethanol without a license is illegal in most countries. However essential oil extraction and water purification distillation laws vary depending on your location.

We strongly suggest that you investigate your local laws regarding distillation before purchasing any distillation equipment and that you fully comply with all necessary permitting requirements.

Here are some helpful links for applying for distillation permits:

Ethanol Fuel Permits (http://www.ttb.gov/forms/f511074.pdf)
Distilled Spirits Licenses (http://www.ttb.gov/spirits/index.shtml)

I am concerned about my privacy and I have heard you have to turn over all your sales information to the TTB, is that true?

At this time, the TTB is NOT requiring that we submit any ongoing sales information.

Like all vendors of distilling equipment, the TTB requires that we keep records of certain sales information in accordance with 27 CFR 29 for a period of 3 years.

Previously, the TTB has required that we submit all sales of any tanks, such as the ones listed in the “Tanks” category on the website, and complete still systems, such as the ones listed under “Still Configurations.”

We have never been asked to submit any sales of individual parts and components.

In the past, we were required to supply the customer name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, email address, serial number, and ship date for applicable sales.

We at StillDragon have very strong beliefs regarding our customers’ right to privacy and we have not and will not turn over any more information than is legally required.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us here. (Last updated 2/17/15)

Could you have a custom piece made for me?

Yes we can.

Any Kettle, Fermenter, or Mash Tun can be made to order with your specifications.

For our still parts, we can, but it is more difficult. All our parts are manufactured in China and most of our vendors have minimum order quantities for custom pieces. It varies depending on which vendor but it is usually in the neighborhood of 100 pieces.

For simple modifications of our current products, we do have partnerships with local welders and we can have existing parts modified for an additional fee.

Please contact us here to discuss your project.
